The North remembers… where the good markets are. ❄️

The insider bits: Tallinn has put a tree on its square since 1441, the pharmacy next door has been open since 1422, and at noon on Christmas Eve, Turku still declares Christmas peace from a balcony on the square.

Save this for your winter weekend. The full guide is at the link in bio.

Every piece of art at Bob W Amsterdam Noord comes with a note: “To my friend Bob” 🎨

The note is from Don Drawings, an artist from Amsterdam who made more than 200 pieces for us when we opened in Noord in 2023. Bold shapes, De Stijl colours, and second-hand frames – all inspired by the neighbourhood and the building’s rugged architecture.

It’s what we do in every new city: find the local artists and ceramicists who make it special, and bring their work inside.

We also asked Don how he’d spend 24 hours in Amsterdam. His answer? Skip the queues. Breakfast in De Pijp, a cult film at Kriterion, and a night out under the A’DAM Tower. The full guide is still on our Notebook 🇳🇱
