For best autumn colours viewing spots, we’d pick Ounasvaara — preferably with something warm to drink and something to roast by the fire. Closer to the City, Arktikum garden and the riverside are always worth a walk.

Whichever way you spend the day, the City makes a pretty good place to start — and come back to.

Since 1978, the City has grown alongside Rovaniemi, while remaining a family-owned hotel at the heart of it.
