Today we have been inspected by Visit Britain.
Not only have we retained our 3 star rating and breakfast award for the 20th year, but we are delighted to say we have received an additional Silver award, due to our consistently high scores in several areas.
The VB website gives the following criteria.
The Silver Award (Quality of Experience): While star ratings are tied to the scale of amenities, the Silver Award is based solely on pure quality. It means the property vastly outperforms its baseline 3-star tier by demonstrating top-tier excellence in cleanliness, housekeeping, hospitality, service, and food.
We are both absolutely blown away by the extra recognition of the hard work that goes into keeping the Langroyd at the standard our guests have come to expect.
