🌾🐄 Dorset County Show is back this weekend! 🚜🐑

One of Dorset’s biggest countryside events returns on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th September 2026, near Dorchester.

It’s a brilliant day out for all ages, celebrating the very best of Dorset agriculture, farming and rural life, with livestock, heavy horses, showjumping, food and drink, countryside displays, horticulture, shopping and plenty of entertainment.

⭐ This year’s highlights include Monster Trucks, the OG Stunt Horse Team, Scurry Racing and The Wurzels performing on Saturday!

🌾🐑 Melplash Show 2026 – A Great Day Out in West Dorset! 🚜🐄

There really is something for everyone, with livestock and horse competitions, horticulture and homecrafts, agricultural machinery, local food and produce, rural displays and more than 400 trade stands**. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the very best of our local farming and countryside. 🌾🐴🥕

🎟️ Children aged 16 and under go FREE, with advance adult tickets available before Show Day.

A fantastic family day out and just a short trip from Graston Farm Cottages – definitely one for the holiday diary!
