Some great news here from Tiffin cafe at Bullock Farm - they'll be open Friday, Saturday and Fathers' Day Sunday from 9am - 3pm.

And, from Thursday 25th June, they'll be open on Thursdays 9am - 3pm too!

Just a heads up for next Monday/Tuesday (22nd & 23rd June) if you are planning to visit to fish or to camp. We will be open but please be aware of the following...

North Somerset Council are planning some pothole repairs (hooray!) close to the entrance of the farm and there will be a road closure on Back Lane as follows:

"The closure is scheduled for 9:30am to 3:30pm on Monday 22 June and Tuesday 23 June. The road will be open as usual outside of these times. Carriageway patching works will take place between the properties of Elmleigh Farm and Benares, with the closure in effect between the junctions of New Cut Bow and Ham Lane.

Where it is safe to do so, the team will assist residents with access and egress. However, this is dependent on the location and stage of the works at the time, and there may be occasions where access cannot be permitted immediately or where short delays may occur while the site is made safe for vehicle movement. Suitable access routes will be maintained where it is safe to do so.

These measures are in place to ensure the safety of both residents and the workforce while the works are ongoing."

Nice little report from Chris & Evie who have returned to fish Rushcombe Lake:

"Me and Evie had a fantastic couple of hours Saturday morning on Rushcombe. Evie kept a tally and we ended up with 7 roach and 2 carp. All caught on the waggler with maggot over pellet about 5/6 feet out from the swim. We still lost a few more carp, they were all fighting like stink but great fun on a short rod and light gear!! Good to catch up with Phil too, thanks again, see you soon."
