A little thank you from all of us at The Cat & Fiddle.

Since reopening our doors, the support we've received from the local community has been nothing short of incredible.

From the familiar faces returning for their first visit in a long time to the new customers discovering us for the very first time, it's been wonderful to see the pub full of life again.

After everything the pub has been through, seeing families enjoying meals together, children playing and friends catching up over a drink has made all the hard work worthwhile.

Every visit, kind word, recommendation, share and lovely comment has meant so much to the entire team.

A pub is so much more than just a building. It's the people who fill it that make it special.

We're incredibly grateful to have such a supportive community around us, and we're looking forward to making many more memories with you all.

From everyone at The Cat & Fiddle, thank you for welcoming us back.

Good food for you. Plenty of fun for them.

Family meals are a little easier at The Cat & Fiddle, with plenty to keep the little ones entertained before and after dinner.

Our indoor soft play area is perfect whatever the weather, while our outdoor play area gives them even more space to run around and burn off some energy.

So you can enjoy your meal, finish your drink and maybe even have an actual conversation while they play!

And don’t forget, all children’s meals are £5 off until 31st October.

Great food, happy kids and a little more peace for the grown-ups — sounds like a good deal to us.

You’ve made it to the bar… what are you ordering?

Everyone’s got their go-to.

A cold pint? Glass of w**e? G&T? Or maybe one of our Thatchers Fusion flavours has your name on it?

Whatever your choice, we want to know — what’s your favourite tipple?

And for the Thatchers fans… Blood Orange, Cloudy Lemon or Apple & Blackcurrant?

Right… we need an explanation for this one. 😂🌿

We could tell you what’s actually happening here… but where’s the fun in that?

ROAST MEATS, CRISPY ROASTIES, ALL THE TRIMMINGS & PLENTY OF GRAVY…

Even better when there’s £5 OFF your carvery.

Enjoy a proper Cat & Fiddle carvery with £5 off every adult and children’s carvery — plus £5 off all meals from our children’s menu, Wednesday to Saturday.

Choose your meat, pile your plate with your favourites and finish it exactly how a carvery should be — with plenty of gravy.

But don’t leave it too long — the offer ends 31st October.

👋 MEET WILL — OUR NEW GENERAL MANAGER!

Some of you might recognise Will already. He’s spent the last two years at our sister pub learning the ropes, and now we’ve finally decided he’s ready to be let loose at The Cat & Fiddle. 😂

Will’s very excited to welcome customers new and old back through the doors and get stuck into this next chapter for the pub.

A few important facts you should probably know about your new GM…

🍹 He likes Piña Coladas.
🌧️ He’s apparently quite happy getting caught in the rain.
🎵 And yes… we know exactly what song is now stuck in your head. 😂

So if you spot Will when you’re in, make sure you say hello — and perhaps ask him what his karaoke song is. We have a feeling we already know the answer…

Give Will a proper Cat & Fiddle welcome in the comments below! 👇

And while you’re here, make sure you’re following the page and keep your eyes peeled… 👀

We’ve got a competition coming VERY soon where one of you will WIN A CARVERY FOR FOUR! 🍽️🎉

You won’t want to miss that one…

🌳 Something else that’s had a bit of a makeover at The Cat & Fiddle… the outdoor play area! 🐱

The play area was still relatively new when we unfortunately had to close our doors, so we’re really pleased to have it back, refreshed and ready for the kids to enjoy again.

And with our brand-new indoor soft play as well, there’s now somewhere for the little ones to burn off some energy whatever the weather decides to do! 😂

Even better, to celebrate our reopening we’re giving you £5 OFF ALL CHILDREN’S MEALS until 31st October! 🎉

So bring the family, grab something to eat and let the children make the most of both our indoor and outdoor play areas while you enjoy a well-earned sit down.
