Nestled on the banks of the River Wenning in an unspoilt and delightful area, this beautifully maintained caravan park with holiday cottages is within walking distance of the local market town of High Bentham. The caravan park has been owned and managed by the Marshall family since the development from a green field site in the late 60s. The sheltered level setting straddling the banks of the Rive

r Wenning is truly superb, screened by trees and natural hillsides with excellent walks along the riverbank and in the surrounding countryside. For the more adventurous, the "Yorkshire Three Peaks", which takes in Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, are very close by. Facilities are provided for holiday home owners, touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents. There are also 2 holiday cottages adjoining the park which cater for 8 people in Woodside or 6 people in Parkside. Both cottages can be let together for a larger group gathering. Riverside Caravan Park is a proud member of the BH&HPA and hold top ratings amongst many reviewers and boards. 🌿✨ Where to visit? This month we'd like to send you to the picturesque town of Hawes, nestled in the heart of North Yorkshire.

🛍️ Wander the cobbled streets
Browse shops filled with crafts, antiques, clothing and homewares. On Tuesdays, the traditional market brings the whole town to life — expect local produce, unique finds and even sheepskin rugs.

🍽️ Taste the Dales
Settle into a cosy pub or enjoy a proper pot of Yorkshire tea in one of Hawes’ quaint cafés.

🌊 Chase waterfalls
Just outside the main town you’ll find two iconic beauty spots:
• Hardraw Force — England’s highest single-drop waterfall, hidden in magical woodland.
• Aysgarth Falls — a stunning series of limestone steps along the River Ure.
