Historic oak panneled countryside pub in the Hope Valley. Charming Edwardian tearooms. My name is Rick and I am the landlord of the Old Hall Hotel in Hope.

I took over the hotel in April 2010. We have transformed the Old Hall and the service you will receive. My aim is to provide a relaxed atmosphere for family and friends to eat and drink with comfortable accomodation. We offer all your favourite classic pub meals from our experienced chefs using fresh ingredients and also have a variety of specials with a twist. We also have a tea room where you can enjoy breakfasts, a quick bite for lunch or afternoon tea and coffee. You must try our famous Old Hall Hotel Derbyshire Breakfast! The tea room can be hired for a special occasion with a variety of options catering for your needs. Please do come and visit us for a meal, drink or stay in one of comfortable bed and breakfast rooms. You can always be sure of a warm welcome at the Old Hall Hotel in Hope, Peak District.

The Pumpkin Man and his trusty four-legged friend are on their Halloween adventures again! 🎃🐾

This time they're making their way to The Old Hall Hotel in Hope, where a roaring fire, a glorious pint and some absolutely delicious food await! 🍺🔥🍽️

After a chilly autumn walk through the beautiful Hope Valley, there's nothing better than settling down by the fire in a cosy country pub!

Even Pumpkin Man knows that good food, great b**r and a warm welcome are worth walking for! 🎃

Well, we’ve had some questionable characters wander into The Old Hall over the years, but these two might just take the biscuit! 🎃

We've got a pumpkin-headed gentleman enjoying a pint by the fire and a ghost who's apparently decided that haunting the place is far too much effort.

To be fair, he's found himself a comfy chair and the pints are perfect. We might struggle to get rid of either of them.

If these walls could talk, we reckon they'd have a few stories to tell…

Standing proudly in the heart of Hope, The Old Hall has been part of village life for over 300 years, with records of the building operating as an inn dating back to the early 1700s.

Through changing seasons, changing times and countless pints, it's remained a place for people to come together.

There's something rather special about an old village pub. The familiar faces, the conversations that last longer than intended, the warmth of the fire and the feeling that some things are best left just as they are.

And as the evenings draw in over the Hope Valley, we can't think of many places we'd rather be.

Here's to old buildings, good company and plenty more stories yet to be told. 🍻

The weather has been absolutely foul again, but Margo couldn’t care less. She’s found the best seat in the house and has absolutely no intention of moving. 😂

Roaring fire, comfy armchair and not a single responsibility in sight. She’s got this pub life well and truly figured out!

Pop in and join us for a pint by the fire. You’ll have to find your own chair though. Margo's not sharing.

Well, the weather outside isn't exactly sunbathing weather, but we've got a roaring fire and homemade white chocolate & raspberry bread and butter pudding, so things could be worse!

Served warm with your choice of cream, custard or ice cream for £6.95.

A pretty good excuse to escape the wind and rain, we reckon!

These lovely lads travelled over from Sheffield for a birthday walk in the Peaks… only for the weather to have other ideas! 😂

Five minutes of fresh air, several pints and a roaring fire later, we’re calling it a successful hike. 🍻
