Tagging and recording our Barn Owls 🦉

We’ve got more than just sheep and cattle here at Falla! Every year, we’re lucky to have barn owls nesting in our owl box.

Recently, we’ve been tagging and recording the owls as part of ongoing monitoring work. It’s a great way to learn more about their movements, breeding success, and how we can continue to support them here at Falla.

It’s always a special moment getting a closer look at these incredible birds before they’re safely returned to their nest.
