Led by our tree expert, Rob Pedley, take a walk to explore the life of Sherwood’s Oaks, from acorn to ancient and meet some of the many other species that need an Oak tree in their lives.

Birds 🐦and bats🦇, butterflies🦋 and moths, beetles🐞, bees🐝 and miniature wasps, fungi🍄 and lichens, Oak trees support over 2,000 different species.

Sherwood’s ancient woodland is home to many of them and provides a perfect habitat to support this vital ecosystem.
