The original ground floor safe and vault room at Castle House has been reimagined as a luxury bathroom featuring a double step-in bath designed for two.

With gold-effect taps, marble-effect tiles and soft atmospheric lighting, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Nottingham.

And with six bedrooms, each with their own ensuite or shower room, guests can enjoy the privacy of their own space while this bath becomes the ultimate spot for a quiet moment of relaxation.

Entries are due by 6th March, so there’s still time to develop and submit your ideas to help shape this unique city-centre space.

Thank you to all the students who braved the rain yesterday afternoon to visit our rooftop at Castle House.

It was a pleasure to welcome you and to hear your initial ideas for the rooftop project. The level of creativity, thought and ambition already being brought to the brief is incredibly encouraging, and we’re proud to be collaborating with on a project that connects academic talent with a live city-centre space.

By 5pm, the rain had cleared and the sun was setting beautifully over Nottingham Castle, a fitting reminder of what makes this rooftop so special. With panoramic views across the city, it’s a space our guests regularly enjoy, and we’re excited to see how your designs and submissions will help shape its next chapter.

For any students who were unable to attend, please do get in touch to arrange an alternative visit. We look forward to continuing this collaboration and seeing your concepts develop.
