A beautiful paddock available to hire for camping & Glamping
We have lived on the farm for over 20 years and have often had little camping weekends when friends came to visit as its always much more fun than staying in the house and The Paddock is flat, which is somewhat unheard of around here, so perfect for tents.
We were approached in 2015 by Ramsbottom Festival to host the camping for their
weekend event so of course we jumped at the chance "Eye just up our street" (the words of Grandad Rothwell) we purchased a small toilet & shower block and well, the rest is history!
2021 season is coming and we are yet again making big changes, we just like keeping busy i guess.. The Bell tents will have gone and we will have replaced them with two more yurts, the original yurts are having a full re-vamp along with the Landpods. We have had great feedback from our guests that stayed in our new safari tent in the 2020 season so that's been very positive, we were just glad that we managed to get everything set up for you on time with the original thought that we weren't going to be opening with the COVID-19 pandemic. All Glamping accommodations have their own kitchen areas and we will also be welcoming corporate days and stays... all in all we are growing in the right direction and you never know we might have another site to look forward to sharing with you! We remind you that this is a working farm, we have sheep, cows, horses, cats, dogs and the odd hen or two so we can't promise a completely quiet stay but we hope that all the animals will be on their best behavior when you're here!
