We're always looking at how we can make The Star even better, and the best people to ask are the ones who drink here.

So, a few questions for you:

Guest ales. We've got Dorset Brewing Company, Palmers, Electric Bear, Piddle and Hop Back all happy to work with us. Which of their beers would you like to see on the bar? Any other breweries we should be talking to?

Sunday roasts. Is that something you'd come in for?

Monday quiz night. We're thinking quiz plus a burger and a pint deal. Would you be up for it?

Live music. Would you like to see more of it?

And the big one: what else would you like to see more of at The Star? Nothing is off the table, so be honest with us.

Drop your thoughts in the comments or come and tell us over the bar. Every suggestion helps 🤞

A little bit of everything, because choosing just one dish was never really an option.

Fresh flavours, a bit of spice and plenty to share. Or keep to yourself, we won't judge.

Something special is taking shape upstairs.

We’re giving our rooms at The Star Inn a proper refresh, bringing in a cleaner, calmer look while keeping the character that makes the building what it is.

Still a work in progress for now, but we’re looking forward to showing you the finished rooms very soon.

A little more work going on behind the scenes at The Star.

We’ve been giving our courtyard some attention, with new fencing going up and a few improvements to make the space even better for our locals.

A big thank you to the lads for their hard work. We can’t wait to show you the finished result.
