Heading into the last weekend of the season … what a summer we’ve had with guests from all over the world joining us, many coming after recommendations from other travellers ..

We use local suppliers for pretty much everything we need on site (gas/wood/bell tents/carering/waste management) and our guests often enjoy food/drinks in the local pubs The Jolly Tanners Staplefield and The Victory Inn Staplefield

We feel very lucky to be a family member in such a welcoming and friendly village

Cow moving day on the farm 🤩

We’ve been closed this week so we can do some maintenance and all the crew can have a bit of a breather …gates open again on Wednesday and we’ll ALL be fully refreshed and ready to go again

Cows are now enjoying the grass in our car park so we’ve moved it next door

We’re incredibly blessed to share the land with Deer .. they live in the fields around Sunset Tree and bring a mystical vibe when they pass the fields adjacent to us most days

Friends, fire, stories and…… MARSHMALLOWS 🤩

Gathering round the fire is innate in us .. the marshmallows are optional ❤️

We’re pretty much fully booked every weekend until late August but loads of space midweek to slow down, enjoy the countryside and make new friends

We had such a lovely stay at Sunset Tree Camping. The whole place has a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere that makes it so easy to switch off and enjoy nature. The setting is beautiful, with plenty of space and amazing sunsets that really live up to the name.

The vibe is laid back and welcoming, with a real hippie feel that encourages you to slow down, unwind and enjoy the simple things. It felt like the perfect escape from busy everyday life.

The facilities were clean and well looked after, and everything was set up to make camping easy and enjoyable. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for somewhere with chilled vibes, beautiful surroundings and a genuine connection to nature, this place is well worth a visit.
