Uttoxeter Makers Market takes place on the last Saturday of each month. A wonderful market with lots of stalls offering homemade items and fantastic food stalls. Definitely worth a visit.

Spring has sprung at Butterley Bank Cottages. The daffodils are in full bloom, the cottage gardens have been dug over and tidied up.
A beautiful view across the valley, the perfect place to sit and unwind during your stay.

After two years, Big Bark is returning to the area on Sat & Sun Sept 26th & 27th and this time we’ll be hosting it at Uttoxeter Racecourse!
We can’t wait to be back and to welcome all the amazing visitors who supported (and have missed!) the Trentham Gardens event we used to run.

It’s going to be bigger, better and full of tail-wagging fun 🐶🎪

A beautiful sunrise this morning over the countryside which the cottages look out on. So lucky to wake up to these views every morning.

An amazing place to remember the fallen and a nice activity for the children to take part in while exploring all the memorials.
A lovely cafe for a light refreshment or lunch during your visit.
A 40 minute drive from our holiday cottages and well worth a visit during your stay.

Daltons Dairy ice cream is delicious. Why not pay them a visit and try the Daltons Spinner. They’re kiosk and honesty shop is 7 miles from the cottage and on route to or from Peak Wildlife Park.
