🌊🎨 VOLUNTEERS WANTED – JOIN THE BIRNBECK TEAM! ♻️🏛️
Would you like to help support one of Weston-super-Mare’s most exciting community, heritage and environmental projects?
The Birnbeck Regeneration Trust is looking for new volunteers to help support activities at both the Birnbeck Hub Information Centre and the Birnbeck Precious Plastics & Community Art Space at the LooVre.
This is your opportunity to become part of an amazing volunteer team helping protect local heritage, raise awareness of ocean plastic pollution, support community creativity and inspire visitors of all ages.
We are looking for volunteers to help with:
🔹 Opening and supporting The Hub Information Centre
🔹 Greeting visitors and sharing the story of Birnbeck Pier
🔹 Supporting community art and exhibition events
🔹 Helping run Precious Plastics recycling demonstrations
🔹 Ocean plastics awareness and education sessions
🔹 Family workshops and creative activities
🔹 Retail, refreshments and fundraising support
🔹 Social media, photography and event promotion
🔹 Heritage displays and local history engagement
🔹 General setup and event support
No previous experience is needed — just enthusiasm, reliability and a passion for community projects. Whether you can spare a few hours a month or want to become more involved, every volunteer makes a huge difference.
The Hub and LooVre spaces have become important community locations where people can learn about Birnbeck’s past, present and future while supporting environmental awareness, creativity and regeneration.
