We try as much as possible to source local produce for our place and my dad is running the dias allotment which gives the organic olive oil we use all year for us and the restaurant plus seasonal veg. And ofcourse as a person that can't stand still just came home proud of his honey harvest with estimations of 150kg plus! So honey for everybody this year :)

Καλημερα! What a beautiful day has risen, with the perfect temperature for everybody. Sundays are a bit extra busy for me as i have to prepare my roast, a dish that we Greeks have as a Sunday meal occasionally or as a celebratory dish in weddings. I personally never used any of the fb groups to advertise it as a traditional uk dish, its a roast beef the way i would cook it on a Sunday for my family, that has come across the people and that's why its the most popular in kalamaki over the years. I have to say that some of the comments around saddens me a tiny bit but i keep saying to myself live and let live and to be nice to everybody -(i try ;) )- . anyways have a lovely, peaceful day all with the people you love. We're the OG's of pork chops.. after all we introduced this cut on the island
