Looking for a quieter viewpoint in the heart of Split’s Old Town? ✨

Above the Vestibule, you’ll find one of our favourite hidden spots - a place where you can admire the bell tower from a different perspective, watch the city below, and listen to the sounds of Klapa singers echoing through the palace.

The best part? It’s only a minute’s walk from Heritage Hotel Antique Split.

All you need to do is buy a ticket for the Ethnographic Museum - which we highly recommend visiting anyway. It’s a small but fascinating museum, and your ticket also gives you access to the rooftop above the Vestibule.

A little tip from us: bring water, SPF, and your camera - chances are you’ll want to stay longer than planned.

Is there a better recommendation than a personal one?

We don’t send our guests to just any restaurant. We recommend places we genuinely love ourselves - places where we know you’ll eat well, drink well, and experience a little more of Split.

Makarun has long been one of our favourite restaurants in Split, so choosing it for our end-of-season gathering felt only natural.
An evening of homemade pasta, good wine, lots of laughter, and learning from the talented young chef reminded us why we love recommending local places we truly believe in.

And yes - the same team is here, ready to share all our favourite recommendations with you this season too. 🤍

While everyone is still asleep, our chef is already in the kitchen preparing a breakfast feast just for you. 🧑‍🍳

With so much to do and see around our hotel, the best we can do is make sure you start the day with a nutritious breakfast, giving you enough energy for all the sightseeing that awaits you until it’s time for lunch.

Every morning begins with a generous selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, local cheeses and cured meats, fresh bread and pastries, spreads and jams, cereals, yoghurts, and something sweet from our kitchen. Eggs and pancakes are cooked to your wishes, with any topping available.

If you have any restrictions, intolerances or allergies, no problem at all - just let us know in advance so we can make sure we have an even greater variety available for you. 🤍

If we’ve crossed your mind lately—here we are 👋🏻

After a long and wonderful season, we’ve been resting.
 But think of it as beauty sleep.

Behind the scenes, we’re taking time to reset, prepare, maintain, and make sure we continue to offer the same level of care you expect from us (or even higher). Because that’s what you deserve.

We’re looking forward to reopening next Friday, our lucky Friday the 13th, February 2026.
