Our hotel holds one of the rare details of Venetian homes: the altana.
A traditional wooden rooftop terrace, built above the houses to open the view over the city: narrow streets, tiled roofs, church bell towers in the distance, and the canals quietly connecting everything below.
It is a place for a slow morning coffee, a quiet aperitivo, a book in the afternoon light, or simply a moment to look at Venice from above.
From here, the city is not the postcard everyone already knows.
It is a living place of rooftops, voices, light and water.
How would you spend your time up here?
