Hakuba Iwatake Apartments are true ski-in, ski-out. Located in a premier position in Hakuba, right on Iwatake ski field. Just 25 meters from the closest lift, our building offers guests unbeatable value and excellent service. This is a true ski-in and ski-out location in the very center of the Hakuba Valley. great. All newly renovated, the apartments are fresh, modern, warm and bright. All apartments have luxury leather sofas, Netflix, a modern kitchen, a bathroom with a toilet and an extra toilet room, super comfortable beds that can be set as a King bed or two single beds. All of our guests comment on how clean and homely our apartments are. We designed and built them with international travelers in mind, particularly skiers and snowboarders. On the ground floor is a ski drying room and laundry for all guests to use. We provide regular supermarket shuttles for our guests and 24/7 bilingual support. The location is within walking distance to a local Onsen for those guests wanting to soak away in true Japanese style. Come stay and play with us at Hakuba Iwatake! Hakuba Iwatake Apartments are owned and operated by Ayako and Daniel Bacon. They have been successfully developing and operating self-contained accommodation in Hakuba since 2007. Both are full-time residence of Hakuba and pride themselves on delivering the highest level of customer service. Ayako and Daniel live in Iwatake and their kids go to ski school right out the front of Iwatake Apartments. The central location of Iwatake within the Hakuba Valley and the convenience of living right on the ski field are what drew them there. Iwatake ski resort is right next to Hakuba Happo One and Tsugaike ski resorts. It has been a secret favorite with local powder hounds for years. Now the secret of Iwatake is getting out to the wider international traveler and our apartments are personally designed and located to cater to snow lovers from all over the world. Iwatake is surrounded by nature and is never as busy as the bigger resorts in the Hakuba Valley. Short lift lines, excellent beginners through to advanced off-piste courses are available on our doorstep. You can often see snow monkeys in the forest behind our building as well as kamoshika (Japanese Serrow) and the occasional black bear. Hakuba Brew Pub, one of Hakuba's best restaurants is also within the building. Hakuba Brew Pub is a trendy, family-friendly pub with great chefs that make everything fresh, and an extensive selection of craft beers as well as a full bar. Various ski schools offer lessons right out the front of our building as well. In the summertime, Hakuba MTB trailhead is right at Iwatake out the front of our building. Be very careful out there folks. More and more people coming to Hakuba these days and heading off piste or even further out into the backcountry. I know I’m not saying anything new here but it’s imperative to put safety first and ALWAYS go with others and carry recovery gear.
