We would like to inform our guests and friends that Conchas Chinas, where Casa del Quetzal is located, has remained calm and unaffected by the events on February the 22nd. Our wonderful and kind staff is safe too. Despite how scary it was, to our knowledge, no civilians or tourists were harmed.
While the events are unprecedented in Puerto Vallarta, the authorities have taken control. The town, just as after a hurricane, is being cleaned and repaired and we hope that life will get back to normal in the following days. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Casa del Quetzal is the website by the original owners of this beautiful villa. They built the house with the help of the local and very talented architect Arturo Ramos. During the many years that the C. family owned the house, they decorated it with furniture and Mexican handcrafted art pieces that were selected not only because they were beautiful, but because they truly loved them, with many pieces having historical significance, this was a labor of love. In 2022, our family was very fortuntate to be able to acquire . Our intent is to continue sharing it with our guests, specially focusing on multi-generational families and groups of friends looking to enjoy a peaceful and memorable vacation. This is our second home and not a party house. Just like the previous owners, the decoration has been selected because we love it and because it truly represents the diverse aspects of Mexican artisanal traditions. We look forward to hosting you!
