Where history finds its way home.
From medieval Kasteel Oys to Château d’Oost and finally back to Van Oys. After centuries of transformation, we restored its original name for a new chapter: Van Oys Maastricht Retreat.

Waar geschiedenis weer thuiskomt.
Van het middeleeuwse Kasteel Oys naar Château d’Oost en uiteindelijk terug naar Van Oys. Na eeuwen van transformatie gaven we het zijn oorspronkelijke naam terug, als begin van een nieuw hoofdstuk: Van Oys Maastricht Retreat.

On Tuesday 15 September, Maes, Cuisine du Terroir presents a W**e & Dine with Pierre Aché Wijnen - an evening devoted to the w**es of the Low Countries.

Four courses from our own region, each paired with a w**e from the Netherlands or Belgium, chosen from w**emakers who let the character of their soil speak. Sometimes the most remarkable journeys are found closest to home.

Tuesday 15 September, arrival from 6.30pm, dinner served at 7pm. €110 per person, w**e pairing included.

Op dinsdag 15 september ontvangt Maes, Cuisine du Terroir u voor een W**e & Dine met Pierre Aché Wijnen - een avond in het teken van de wijnen uit de Lage Landen.

Vier gangen uit onze eigen streek, elk gepaard met een wijn uit Nederland of België, gekozen door wijnmakers die het karakter van hun grond laten spreken. Soms ligt het bijzondere het dichtst bij huis.

Dinsdag 15 september, ontvangst vanaf 18.30 uur, aanvang diner 19.00 uur. €110 per persoon, inclusief het wijnarrangement.

The one room in our retreat you do not have to book.

No reservation, no hour to choose. Walk in from the garden, and the bartender pours what the evening asks for. Rare vintages, Zeeland oysters, handcrafted cocktails and a fire once the light goes. Guests remain as long as the conversation calls for, with no clock to mind.

W**e Bar César. Open daily from 11:00.

De enige ruimte in ons retreat waarvoor u niet hoeft te reserveren.

Geen reservering, geen tijdstip om te kiezen. Loop vanuit de tuin naar binnen, de barman schenkt wat de avond vraagt. Zeldzame vintages, Zeeuwse oesters, handgemaakte cocktails en een vuur zodra het licht verdwijnt. Gasten blijven zolang het gesprek dat vraagt, zonder klok die meetelt.

On Sunday 30 August, Van Oys Maastricht Retreat welcomes you to The Grand Sunday Brunch - a five-course afternoon in the French-Mediterranean tradition.

Three hours of live cooking: a glass of Ch*****ne from the house of Abelé on arrival, dishes by chef Stijn Antens plated à la minute at the grand buffet, a w**e paired to every course, local artisanal cheeses, home-made desserts, and live music throughout the afternoon.

Sunday 30 August, 12pm to 3pm. €125 per person, €75 for children aged 12-17 years, €45 for children aged 4-11 years..
