We are looking for a proactive and well-connected Visitor and Events Coordinator to join our Destination team.
In this 12-month fixed term role, you’ll work across business events, conferences, travel trade and major events, helping position Taranaki as a compelling place to visit, meet and do business.
This is an exciting time to join the Destination team, with plenty of momentum in the Taranaki visitor sector.
You’ll play a key role working with tourism operators, conference organisers, trade partners, venues and event organisers, to support bids and familiarisation visits, trade activity as well as supporting the administration of the New Plymouth Major Events Fund.
If you have experience in tourism, marketing, conferences or events, are great at building relationships, and thrive in a varied, fast-moving role, we’d love to hear from you.
32 hours per week | 12-month fixed term
