wedding, wellbeing or intimate corporate event. For family fun or group team building, add on extra activities: clay bird shooting, archery, axe throwing and a hole in one golf challenge. There is a very spacious enclosed deck with all round views and a river stone fire place which creates a great atmosphere for an intimate dinner or a private party and also offers an amazing space for intimate corporate meetings and training sessions.

Meet Andrea, owner of Rathmoy Estate and a registered wedding celebrant, who is honoured to officiate ceremonies for couples saying "I do" in one of New Zealand's most beautiful countryside settings. Also happy to travel to other venues.

If you already have a celebrant, you are welcome to bring them along. Our goal is to give you the freedom and flexibility to create the wedding of your dreams.

What an incredible day at the Hitched - The Manawatu Wedding Showcase held on 26 July 2026 at Awapuni Racecourse in Palmerston North.

We had such a wonderful time meeting so many lovely couples, catching up with talented wedding vendors, and sharing everything Rathmoy Estate has to offer. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand, asked questions, and took the time to chat with us. It was a pleasure meeting each of you.

We were delighted to be part of the VIP Panel and got to talk with amazing couples in a more intimate setting.

We also had a lot of fun throughout the day, including sharing a few laughs (and a dance!) with Brooke, one of the wonderful wedding celebrants we work with. At Rathmoy we can help you with wedding celebrant service or you are welcome to bring your own.

Thank you once again to all the couples, wedding vendors, Tracy and Amy from Hitched Manawatu and everyone who made the showcase such a memorable event. We look forward to welcoming many of you to Rathmoy Estate and being part of your special day.
