This page was created early, before everything is finished, because we believe meaningful places are built with patience and care. Nothing rushed. Nothing forced. For now, this page simply shares the journey as it unfolds. When the time is right, we’ll open our doors.

Manukan ng Bayan is just about a 4-minute walk from Payapa Stay and can be a handy little stop for guests who want to pick up chicken without going too far. 🍗

🛒 FRESH CHICKEN
They sell fresh chicken cuts at prices lower than the usual market price — useful if you're staying at Payapa and planning to cook a meal at home.

🍗 FRIED CHICKEN
Need something quick to eat instead?

They also sell fried chicken for just ₱35 per piece, plus cooked rice — perfect for a simple meal when you don't feel like cooking.

🍕 PAYAPA RECOMMENDS: CORON GRILL DINERS

Some food finds are planned. Others just happen. 🤍

This one started last August during Coron’s fiesta month. Fritz went to the plaza, where there were so many food booths around, and brought home this cheesy pizza for us to try.

We tried it… and that was it. 😂🍕

Since then, I don't think we've gone a whole week without having this pizza.

It's become one of our little favorites in Coron — simple, cheesy, and something we keep coming back for. 🧀🍕

📍 JUST 4 MINUTES WALK FROM PAYAPA STAY

We often notice that Coron Grill Diners has quite a few customers in the evenings. We haven't actually dined in there yet, so we can only personally recommend the pizza we've tried and ordered for takeout.

But if you're staying at Payapa and looking for an easy dinner option nearby, this is definitely one to keep in mind.

And yes… the cheesy pizza is the reason we're sharing it. 😋

Our little kitchen at Payapa Stay. 🤍

It’s simple, but it has the basics we want our guests to have during their stay — especially families and small groups who sometimes prefer to prepare a meal, make coffee, or have a quiet breakfast at home.

🍳 Electric stove & cookware
🍚 Rice cooker
🥣 Plates, bowls & utensils
🥂 Glasses & tableware
🔥 Toaster oven
💧 Drinking water filtration
🧼 Dishwashing area
🧺 Dish drying rack

The refrigerator is just on the other side of the dining area, and the washing machine is outside — both still part of the little conveniences we’ve prepared for longer or more relaxed stays.

The kitchen is not the biggest, fanciest kitchen, but it’s functional and thoughtfully put together for a comfortable stay. 🌿

And like the rest of Payapa, we’ll keep improving it little by little as the house grows with us.

🌿 BEFORE YOU BOOK AT PAYAPA STAY

A little note on how our direct bookings work. 🤍

Payapa Stay now offers three ways to stay:

• Entire Home — up to 6 guests
• Big Bedroom — up to 4 guests
• Small Bedroom — up to 2 guests

No matter which option you choose, your stay is always exclusive. We do not accommodate separate groups at the same time.

Because all three options use the same home, our direct bookings are reviewed and confirmed manually.

Here's how it works:

1. Choose your dates and preferred booking option.
2. Submit your reservation and pay the required down payment.
3. Your booking will appear as PENDING while we check the dates and availability.
4. We will review your booking and aim to confirm it within 24 hours.

If another booking has priority for the same dates, we'll contact you and do our best to offer alternative dates or another available option.

If we're unable to accommodate your stay and no alternative dates work for you, your payment will be refunded as soon as possible.

Please remember: your reservation is CONFIRMED only once Payapa Stay has reviewed and confirmed it.

We do this simply to make sure that every guest who stays with us gets what we promise — a private and exclusive stay. 🌿

🌿 MORE WAYS TO STAY AT PAYAPA

Not every trip to Coron needs two bedrooms.

Payapa Stay remains available as an exclusive 2-bedroom private home for up to 6 guests at ₱6,000/night.

But for smaller groups, we're also opening selected dates for individual-bedroom bookings.

You may be able to book either our smaller or bigger bedroom while still having Payapa Stay exclusively to yourselves.

No shared stays.
No other guests in the home.
Just your own private space to enjoy during your stay.

Whole-home bookings remain our priority, and room-only bookings will only be accepted on dates when the entire home is still available.

All stays have a minimum of 2 nights.

If you're traveling as a smaller group and don't need two bedrooms, send us a message and we'll be happy to check the available option for your dates. 🌿

🏡 PAYAPA HOME | THE LIVING ROOM

After a day of island hopping, exploring Coron, or simply being out and about, it’s nice to have a little space to come back to. 🤍

Our living room is where guests can slow down for a while — watch something on Netflix, have a cup of coffee, sit around the table, or simply rest after a full day.

It’s a simple space, but we wanted it to feel comfortable and homey, with a little touch of the Filipino province through the amakan walls and wooden details. 🌿

There are still little things we'd love to add to Payapa as we grow, but we're happy with how this space is slowly coming together.
