ทีเส็บ คือหนึ่งในกำลังสำคัญที่ผลักดันให้ประเทศไทยก้าวสู่การเป็นเจ้าภาพงานระดับโลก ตั้งแต่การยื่นประมูลสิทธิ์และผลักดันให้จังหวัดอุดรธานีเป็นเจ้าภาพการจัดงาน มหกรรมพืชสวนโลก จังหวัดอุดรธานี 2569 (Udon Thani International Horticultural EXPO 2026) และประสานความร่วมมือกับ AIPH (International Association of Horticultural Producers) เพื่อให้การจัดงานเป็นไปตามมาตรฐานสากล ไปจนถึงการใช้เครือข่ายไมซ์ระดับนานาชาติในการดึงดูดผู้เข้าร่วมงาน นักลงทุน และนักเดินทางคุณภาพจากทั่วโลก ควบคู่ไปกับการยกระดับผู้ประกอบการท้องถิ่น เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าอีสานพร้อมต้อนรับนักเดินทางกลุ่มคุณภาพสูงได้อย่างสมบูรณ์แบบ
ความคืบหน้าด้านงานก่อสร้างและการปรับภูมิทัศน์ (Construction Update)
แลนด์มาร์กสำคัญใกล้เสร็จสมบูรณ์แล้ว ไม่ว่าจะเป็นอาคารต้อนรับ หรือเรือนกระจกจัดแสดง (Greenhouse) โดยจะแบ่งพื้นที่ออกเป็น 6 โซนไฮไลต์ เช่น โซนสวนนานาชาติ โซนนวัตกรรมเกษตรแม่นยำสูง และโซนสวนป่าคาร์บอนเครดิต ซึ่งทั้งหมดนี้ผ่านการตรวจประเมินและยืนยันมาตรฐานระดับสากลจากสมาคมพืชสวนระหว่างประเทศ (AIPH) เป็นที่เรียบร้อย
ผลกระทบทางเศรษฐกิจ (Economic Impact)
ตลอดระยะเวลาของการจัดงาน คาดว่าจะมีผู้เข้าชมกว่า 3.6 ล้านคน สร้างเม็ดเงินหมุนเวียนกว่า 32,000 ล้านบาท และก่อให้เกิดการจ้างงานกว่า 81,000 อัตรา ช่วยกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจและยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของคนในภูมิภาคอีสานอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
แผนมรดกเชิงพื้นที่และการต่อยอด (Expo Legacy Plan)
เหนือกว่าความสำเร็จของงานคือภายหลังเสร็จสิ้นงานในเดือนมีนาคม 2570 และจังหวัดอุดรธานีได้วางแผนพลิกโฉมให้พื้นที่หนองแด กลายเป็น อุทยานระดับโลก ศูนย์กิจกรรมเยาวชน ศูนย์การประชุมนานาชาติ สวนสาธารณะ ศุนย์กีฬาทางน้ำ แหล่งเรียนรู้ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและการเกษตรสมัยใหม่ และตลาดชุมชนอีกด้วย
นี่คือบทบาทของทีเส็บในฐานะ National Bidder ของประเทศไทย ที่ไม่ได้เพียงดึงงานระดับโลกเข้ามาจัดในประเทศ แต่ ทีเส็บ ยังคง สร้างโอกาส เชื่อมโยงเครือข่ายทางธุรกิจ และต่อยอดประโยชน์จากการจัดงานให้เกิดขึ้นในวงกว้าง สร้างผลกระทบทางเศรษฐกิจ ยกระดับขีดความสามารถของอุตสาหกรรมไมซ์ และส่งต่อมรดกแห่งการพัฒนาให้กับชุมชนและประเทศอย่างยั่งยืน

TCEB is a key driving force behind Thailand’s ambition to host world-class events, from bidding for the right to host the Udon Thani International Horticultural EXPO 2026, supporting Udon Thani’s successful bid, and coordinating with the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) to ensure the event meets international standards, to leveraging TCEB’s global MICE network to attract international visitors, investors and high-quality travellers while strengthening local businesses and ensuring that the Northeast is fully equipped to welcome global visitors.
Construction & Landscape Update
Key landmarks, including the Welcome Center and Greenhouse, are nearing completion. The Expo will feature 6 highlight zones, including the International Gardens, Precision Agriculture Innovation Zone, and Carbon Credit Forest Garden. All zones have undergone assessment and received confirmation of international standards from AIPH.
Economic Impact
The Expo is expected to welcome more than 3.6 million visitors, generate over THB 32 billion in economic circulation, and create more than 81,000 jobs, delivering tangible economic benefits and supporting improved quality of life across the Northeast of Thailand.
Expo Legacy Plan
Beyond the Expo itself, Udon Thani has developed a long-term legacy plan for the Nong Dae site following the Expo’s conclusion in March 2027. The area is planned to be transformed into a world-class park, youth activity centre, international convention centre, public park, water sports centre, environmental and modern agriculture learning centre, and community market.
This reflects TCEB’s role as Thailand’s National Bidder—not simply bringing world-class events to Thailand, but also creating opportunities, connecting business networks, and extending the benefits of events far beyond their duration.
