Ghosts and ghouls, get ready for October 31st! 👻 🎃 Grab your friends and family, don your best costumes and join us for a spooky good time for all at the Frightening 4K! 🧟♂️ 🏁 This is the perfect event for the little ones; a distance for all plus tons of candy. On Halloween this year, too! Come help us support Trick or Treat in the Heat-Anchorage! 🙌 🍬
Fun and fantastic trick-or-treat stations will greet you at each kilometer. Fill up your candy bag, enjoy the spooky decor, or blast on by as fast as you can! Get your fill at the 4K, then head out and chase goodies all through downtown at the Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. Trick-or-Treat Street! It kicks off right after the Frightening 4K.
Family and Team Registration available! Families and teams of 3 members or more will receive $5 off of the registration fee once the third member signs up. The first two members will pay full price and then will each receive an automatic $5 refund once the 3rd member has joined!
Through the FFK registration platform, you can help support their fundraising efforts by donating to Trick or Treat In The Heat. Skinny Raven Sports will match, up to $500, the total dollar amount raised for TOTITH through FFK registration. The annual Ian Robbins Memorial Trick Or Treat In The Heat started in 2005 as an impromptu block event to allow a terminally-ill five year old to experience one last Halloween trick or treating. TOTIH has grown into a beloved memorial fundraiser supporting Hospice of Anchorage, Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington, and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska. Thanks to the amazing community and participating neighborhoods, their 2026 event raised over $87,965+ to help sick Alaskan children and their families.
We are so thankful to the Trick Or Treat In The Heat team and the Alaskan Spirit Halloween team for their efforts and willingness to join on this collaboration!
