We are celebrating hard working people this weekend. Labor Day weekend's events held on Saturday, September 5 include Archery, Reptiles and a Campground Ice-Cream Social. Archery is from 9 AM - 10 AM for anyone ages 8 and up. You must pre-register for archery. Learn about reptiles that make their home in Georgia at 11 AM -11 :45 AM. Bring family and friends to a day of fun in the park!

We are hiring at Mistletoe State Park! We are looking to hire on a part time naturalist and a part time maintenance worker.

The naturalist position would involve leading field trips, park programs and volunteer events. This is a great entry level position for getting your foot in the door with state parks.

We are also looking for a new maintenance worker. This position requires outdoor work including mowing, trash collection and upkeep of the park.

Both of these positions are looking to hire as soon as possible. Both positions start at $12 an hour with opportunity for raises. Please email us at [email protected] or give us a call at 706-541-0321.
