As the sun rises on another beautiful day here at Treehouse, we have good news to report. COVID is dropping in Taney and Stone Counties. Actually, that's great news! Silver Dollar City just finished their Moonlight Madness, and next up is Southern Gospel Picnic, which is always well attended. The Summer is drawing to a close and kids will be heading back to school soon. I am hearing some reports that there are schools which will continue to offer online classes, so if you are one of the lucky ones who get to have your children partake in that, why not come on down to Treehouse and spend a week on the lake! We have high speed WiFi available for those online classes and the rest of the time you can spend playing, shopping, or just relaxing by the pool! Peace and quiet await, so come, stay with us!

Absolutely perfect lake weather. Not too hot, not too cool, just right as Goldilocks says. We are continuing to clean our rooms with a COVID killing solution and doing our best to maintain a safe and sanitary place for our owners and guests alike. We are open, we have condos available and we are taking reservations so if you are ready for an end of the summer lake vacation come on down. Hurry before they close the lake for winter!

Just kidding, they don't close it! But you do have to be a special kind of tough to jet ski in cold water. Brrrr!

Well, another milestone for Taney County and COVID. We are now up to 90 cases per 100,000 population, the highest ever rate of infection, and are considered an extreme risk. Chicago has instituted a travel ban for people coming from Missouri and Arkansas, meaning those who are unvaccinated will have to quarantine or produce a negative test within a time period. We have people cancelling their trips to us because we are a "hot spot". Folks, if you are vaccinated you should have minimal worries. The people who are getting COVID could be the local people who are refusing to get the vaccine. However, if you are traveling and haven't had the shot you might be placing yourself in danger and should think about canceling a trip to Branson. Please, protect yourselves and your loved ones: get the shot!

Just to let everyone know, we are having Plumlee Roofing work on our roofs, replacing them in order to eliminate some leaks we have been experiencing. Buildings 1 through 8 are completed, they are working on Building 14 beginning today, then will head to Building 9 through 1 to finish them off. We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is the time they could do the work. If all goes well, by the end of the month we will have brand new roofs!

Whew! It's hot! I mean, like hot! I don't mean to rush summer away but I am ready for some cooler weather; how about you? If you are, then enjoy this video of SDC's A Christmas Carol show and think of how nice it will be to be able to visit Branson this fall and winter, enjoying the cooler weather, the shows, all while staying at Treehouse Condos, which is just down the street from SDC! Imagine walking around the square, sipping on hot chocolate and listening to the Christmas Carolers as they bring tidings of great joy to you, and enjoying the Christmas Lights that will be everywhere.
The people (David and Rachell Wallace) in this video are two of my favorite entertainers ever and have such wonderful voices. So here's hoping you cool off a little as you give a listen and think ahead to cooler days even as you are floating in the lake or pool. Hope to see you soon!

It has been some beautiful weather of late, but some rain is on the horizon. That doesn't deter our visitors from coming in, though. We are bursting at the seams right now, but we should have two new condos coming on the rental program in the next few days so if you are searching for somewhere to go, check us out.
The lake is dropping steadily but with rain in the forecast it will be rising again I'm sure. Our pool is still crystal clear and waiting for you to plunge in, though. The landscaping we added this Spring is doing well and we have plants popping up all over, with multiple colors of flowers to feast your eyes on.

The skies have cleared, the rain has passed, and the sun is out. And it's hot, like really hot, with a heat index approaching 100 degrees. Life in the Ozarks, right? If you don't like the weather, hang around a minute and it will change.
The area is in full swing, with no restrictions that I am aware of for SDC, Shepherd of the Hills, or most attractions beyond perhaps limiting the amount of people visiting. The lake is about 8 feet high and just about perfect to swim in at 83 degrees. I heard a report of walleye being caught on the points and I have to get out there and find out if they are! Love that walleye to eat!
Summer is almost upon us and I will share a video of my favorite group, Southern Raised, playing Dueling Banjos at SDC a couple of years ago. They are a local group (near Crane, Mo.) that I fell in love with several years ago. If they are ever near where you are, I highly recommend giving them a listen.
If you aren't doing anything we'd like to invite you to come down and visit us. We'd love to see ya!

The rain has halted (temporarily at least) and we are able to have our roofs worked on by Plumlee Roofing, repairing/replacing the damage done by hail and wind. We apologize for the inconvenience, but are doing our best to minimize the impact by working on one building at a time and only Monday through Thursday each week. Building 1 and 2 are completed, and the next rainless period we get will be for buildings 3 and 4.
The weekend looks pretty good, highs in the 80's and only a slight chance of rain. The lake is high, having come up about 3 feet over the past week. Fishing is good, and I hear white bass are being caught on topwater lures along some banks and coves. We haven't had a lot of wind and the lake has been fairly calm, allowing plenty of pleasure boating and jet skiing in the main portion of the lake.
Our new pool system is working great and we invite you out to enjoy it. Be sure and check to see if we have any condo rentals available first, as we are seeing an increase in visitors this year over previous years. Hope you had a great Memorial Day, and please, stay safe everyone.

This weekend is Memorial Day, the unofficial (official?) start of the Summer. We opened the pool last week and even have had some swimmers brave the cool water to swim in the new salt water system. The air temperatures this weekend won't be quite as nice as last weekend, but still it should be a very comfortable holiday weekend. We are expecting some storms today at some point, with a cool front arriving behind them and extending into the weekend, complete with fair skies.

We hope you are enjoying the beginning of summer wherever you are and remember to stay safe. Also, please remember what this weekend is: a day for honoring our military persons who have died while performing their duty on our behalf. To all of you who are out there and who are either military, or of a military family, we thank you for your service.

Our new saltwater pool system is ready and we will be opening it this weekend! Next weekend is Memorial Day and we are inviting all who are staying with us to try out this new system. Plus you have the great view of the lake from the pool to enjoy. This weekend is forecast to be in the low 80's and sunny so this will be the perfect beginning to the summer! Toss your cares into a suitcase and come on down! See you soon!

Summer is coming! It is, it really is! And this year, Summer is bringing back the Harlem Globetrotters to nearby Silver Dollar City! Treehouse Condos is so close to SDC you could almost walk there, and our units are filling up fast!
