JCC Camp Ruach Welcome to Camp Ruach! Our 8-week program offers campers ages 15 months through grade 9 a fun-filled summer!

JCC Camp Ruach is an extraordinary day camp located at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center on over 14 beautiful acres of land. JCC Camp Ruach is dedicated to your child's safety and well-being. We know your child will have a fantastic summer through our supportive and nurturing environment while participating in a wide variety of activities and dynamic programs we offer. Each week

the campers take part in special events such as: Entertainment, Camp Carnival, JCC Maccabi Games (Camp Olympics), Camp Show and more! Summertime is an opportunity for children to play, experiment and grow with friends.

Boker Tov got a little extra flavor with Lil Spence performing “Gamba Gamba” for our Word of the Day! 🎤🌶️ Inspired by a fellow Ropes staff member who eats bell peppers every single day, Spencer turned that inspiration into a whole song. 😂🎶

⚡🔥 RUACH RUNDOWN: THE MACCABIA FINALE! 🔥⚡
What. A. Finish. 🏆 After three days of competition, spirit, teamwork, and nonstop energy, this year’s Maccabia came down to just 15 POINTS!
💙 Blue Thunder: 5,750
💚 Green Heatwave: 5,735
Congratulations to BLUE THUNDER on taking home the win! ⚡💙 And a huge shoutout to both teams for making this one of the closest competitions in Camp Ruach history!
Our Penny Wars were also a huge success! Together, Blue and Green raised $318.44 for the Benjamin Butler Camp Scholarship Fund. 💙💚

What a week! We kicked off Week 7 with the camp traditions we know and love before jumping into Maccabia 2026! 💙💚 Color War brought great energy, teamwork, and plenty of memorable moments. Here’s a look back at everything that made Week 7 such a fun one.

Our Hype Men, Spencer and Reid, are back to take us through today’s challenges and Blue Thunder came ready to play with a CLEAN SWEEP! 💙⚡

But this one is coming down to the wire… Green Heatwave is still in the lead by just 10 POINTS, making this the closest match in Color War history! 💚🔥
