Private dining or a full restaurant buyout? The right choice depends on the kind of evening you want to create. 🍷✨
A private dining room is ideal for intimate gatherings where conversation, a beautifully paced meal, and a more personal setting matter most.
A full restaurant buyout gives your group the entire space — offering more privacy, flexibility, room to mingle, and the freedom to shape the evening from welcome cocktails through dessert.
At Bistro 165 in downtown Brunswick, both approaches can work beautifully for rehearsal dinners, milestone birthdays, Bowdoin family gatherings, anniversary celebrations, corporate dinners, and other special occasions.
For out-of-town guests, OneSixtyFive The Inn on Park Row adds another advantage: guest rooms are just upstairs, making the entire celebration feel more relaxed and connected.

Bowdoin graduation weekend is about more than the ceremony. 🎓

It is one of those rare weekends when family comes together, milestones are celebrated, and the best moments often happen in between the scheduled events — over breakfast, during a walk through Brunswick, or around the table at dinner.

Our latest guide shares how to organize a Bowdoin graduation stay with less rushing and more time to enjoy the occasion.

From reserving lodging early and planning around the official commencement schedule to choosing one memorable celebratory meal and leaving room to enjoy downtown Brunswick, a little preparation can make graduation weekend feel much more relaxed.

Dinner, theater, and a night away — Brunswick makes it easy to turn a performance into a full evening out. 🎭🍷

Start with dinner and handcrafted cocktails at Bistro 165, then head to a performance at Maine State Music Theatre or another Bowdoin College event with plenty of time to enjoy the evening without rushing.

For a 7:30 PM curtain, a 5:30 PM dinner reservation is a comfortable place to start. Mention your show time when you reserve so the meal can be paced accordingly, then leave yourself 30–45 minutes to make your way to the theater and settle in.

And instead of driving home after the final applause, stay overnight at OneSixtyFive The Inn on Park Row and turn the evening into a true Brunswick getaway.

Small weddings can create some of the most memorable weekends. 💍✨

When the guest list is intimate, the celebration can feel less like an event to manage and more like time genuinely spent together — welcome cocktails, a meaningful ceremony, a beautifully paced dinner, and breakfast together the next morning.

A boutique hotel can make that especially easy by bringing accommodations, dining, and gathering spaces together in one place.

At **OneSixtyFive The Inn on Park Row** in downtown Brunswick, intimate celebrations can pair beautifully appointed guest rooms with private dining at **Bistro 165**, handcrafted cocktails, seasonal menus, and a setting designed for conversation and connection.

Whether you are imagining a micro-wedding, a small family celebration, or an elegant dinner after a private ceremony, the right setting can turn one day into an entire Maine weekend.
