Hanna & Matthew got married! It was lovely! The sweetest bride asked for delicate details and dusty blue….she loved our collection of vintage glassware. So we have been over here working on a little something 🤗 For the last few months we have been silently and sometimes painfully working on my dish shed ! (I have the blisters to prove it!) with the help of my husband, SIL and next door neighbor we have been getting er done! The boys did all of the insulation, bead board, painting, cabinet, electrical and water. I did the tile and picked out all of the paint, fixtures, etc. I can’t wait to get my dishes on the walls and have a party for everyone to see what 7 Sisters is all about! I think I might now be a professional peel and stick tile installer. It will be on my resume!

We are at Iron Gate Estate again this weekend! Jackie and Josh are getting married! Simple, classic, slightly eclectic……altogether lovely! Blue and our vintage silver flatware just go together. Jackie’s sweet momma did all of the flowers 🩵 and they were gorgeous. Congratulations Jackie & Josh! May you have all the happiness always!

Planning with brides is one of my favorite parts of what I do! I love it when they realize that they can have what they envisioned without breaking the bank or blowing their budget. Renting your dishes and napkins just makes way more sense than trying to thrift everything. What do you do with it all once the event is done? Who sets it all up? (Me) Who clears the tables? (Me or some awesome kids I know 😉) Who scrapes, rinses, repacks? (Me & my hubs) Who washes it all? (Me) Still thinking plastic will be just fine? ‘Nice’ disposable plates can be pricey…..and no one wants a fork prong in their salad or brisket. Give me a call….I would love to help you bring your vision to life!

So….you want to use vintage china, but you are afraid ‘she’ doesn’t have what you are looking for……at 7 Sisters we (meaning I) have so many beautiful things for you to choose from! Maybe you want a more elaborate head/king/everyone is welcome table…..yep, I do that. Maybe you are throwing a shower or a welcome dinner….yep, I do that too. Don’t want mix and match? I have white, gold and white, white with bronze rims, white with charcoal rim design….and chargers (so many chargers!) so while you are sitting there and thinking, I will just throw in that I set up AND clean up. All you have to do is pick out your table settings or not (I can do that for you) If you are working off a Pinterest page or putting together a mood board make a note to self: Contact 7 Sisters Table Settings! And to all of my past, present and future brides, ‘thank you! I appreciate you more than you will ever know!’ 🫶

Just because you are getting married on Independence Day, doesn’t mean you need to bust out the red, white & blue! This Midwest girl and her New York boy met in Charleston. (Love that city!) what an inspiration to be living in The Holy City and taking in all of that sweet, slow paced hospitality! This color palette was just lovely! Some call it designing ( I am NOT a designer) some call it curating 🤷🏻‍♀️ I call it having fun playing with dishes and linens 🥰
Napkins and linens play a huge part in the design and overall aesthetic of your space….a friend once told me (Was that you Amelia Holder?) that linens take up the biggest amount of real estate on your tables….be sure to make an impact! I like that kind of advice 🫶
