If you’re getting into town early on Saturday, I highly recommend stopping by the Chetek Farmers Market! It’s the perfect place to check out the weekly food vendors and stock up on all kinds of local goodies for the week.
While you’re there, be sure to pop into the Pine Lodge Shop too.

I remember when this market had just four vendors, and it’s been so fun to watch it grow over the years. Cindy, the owner, is one of the sweetest people you’ll meet and would absolutely love to see you there on a Saturday!

We’ve added a brand new couch for you to relax on during your stay, along with a brand new washer and dryer for your convenience!

As always, we kindly ask that you remember this is our home when we’re not there.

We’re looking forward to hosting you this summer at Northview Lodge! Here are a few friendly reminders to help ensure a smooth summer for everyone.

• Check-in is at 4:00 PM. Arriving early may delay our cleaning team. Once Jon has texted you the code and confirmed the house is ready is you can come to Northview Lodge.

• Check-out is at 9:00 AM (no exceptions). Late departures will delay cleaning for incoming guests.

• Hot Tub Notice: The hot tub is not available for guest use and has never been included as an amenity. Any attempt to access or tamper with it will result in the loss of your security deposit and will impact future bookings.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, we can’t wait to host you this summer!

Hello everybody,

Jon and I want to thank you for choosing the NorthView Lodge for your summer vacation. We truly hope you enjoy the house as much as we do.

We’ll have some exciting new things for 2026 and unfortunately a few new rules. We will save those details for next year.

For now, we hope you enjoy the rest of 2025, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2026!

Hello amazing guests!
We know vacations are about relaxing and not stressing over rules but here’s a friendly reminder to keep everything running smoothly.

🕓 Check-in is at 4:00 PM.
Our cleaning crew is small and if you arrive early it delays their work. Please wait until you receive the text with your door code before coming to NorthView Lodge.

⏰ Check-out is 9:00 AM.
Late check outs slow down our cleaning process and can throw off the schedule for the next family coming in.

Bonus request (not a rule… yet!)
Before you leave, take a quick peek at the bathrooms. If it would make you cringe, it’ll make our cleaning crew cringe too. Remember—this isn’t a truck stop, it’s our home!! We’ve got cleaning supplies and toilet brushes in every bathroom in case you need it!

How to Spend the Perfect Friday in Chetek – August 8th

Start your day early at Edgewood Bakery to grab fresh cookies and bread for the weekend. Then wander down to Hope & Anchor for a cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast.

At 10 AM, join us for the final Wine Walk of the year! Stroll through Chetek, sip on wines, shop local stores, and support our small businesses.

Dinner – Stop by Phil’s for their appetizer special this month: corn nuggets which are my personal favorite! And since it’s Fish Friday, don’t miss their fish specials.

Evening Entertainment – At 7:00 PM, head uptown for the Street Dance and enjoy live local bands!

Next Stop – Hope & Anchor
Just a short walk away, to grab your morning coffee, tea, or breakfast.

Pontoon Time!
Hop on your pontoon and spend the day soaking up the sun on the Chetek Chain of Lakes.

Lunchtime – Mel’s Lakeshore
Dock your boat and enjoy a delicious lakeside lunch at Mel’s lakeshore.

Back on the Water
Spend your afternoon cruising, swimming, and relaxing.

Dinner Plans – Hope & Anchor x Babka’s Pizza Co.
Dock your pontoon again and walk up to Hope & Anchor where Babka’s Pizza Company will be serving from 3–7 PM.

Looking for a fun day trip during your stay in Chetek?
We highly recommend checking out Bayfield, Wisconsin.

Bayfield is about a 2.5-hour drive from Chetek, but it’s 100% worth it. The downtown area is full of locally owned shops with a great mix of handmade goods, and treats.

While you’re there, hop on the ferry to Madeline Island! Be sure to stop at the candle shop, and then go relax at the City Beach Park.
