We’ve added something new to TerraTx, the first-ever Art Walk in the Frio Canyon!

Friday, September 25
Kick off the weekend with a walkable evening of art. Wander from venue to venue at your own pace, check out local art, student work and more, then head to Gypsy Sally’s at 6 PM for the official TerraTx Kickoff Party with art and live music.

Saturday, September 26
Spend the morning in Concan at Legends of the Land, celebrating the artists, makers, stories, history and traditions of this place.

Then Saturday evening, get a little dolled up and head to From Roots to Sky at The Springs Retreat for our mohair fashion show, live music and moon party under the Frio Canyon sky.

Sunday, September 27
Slow it down Sunday morning with gospel and music led by Micah Edwards at the old Concan schoolhouse.

And throughout the entire weekend, drive around the Frio Canyon and explore the TerraTx Art Trail, where you can see new murals and public artworks being installed in Concan and Leakey.

Art, music, fashion, history, local stories and a moon party.

This is going to be a weekend in the Frio Canyon you do not want to miss.

Where did you have your coffee on this spectacular Saturday morning? You could have done that on the Frio here at River Rim Resort. There are still lots of mornings this month that you can have coffee on the river so we wanted to give you a special rate for new reservations in August.
