Camp Pontiac Camp Pontiac, is a family owned "co-ed hybrid" overnight camp for kids ages 7 through high school. We run a traditional full season camp program (7 weeks).

Camp Pontiac is located in Copake, New York, in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. The Berkshires have always been considered a wonderful summer resort with beautiful landscape, culture, arts and antiques. We are only 100 miles north of Manhattan (2 hours driving time) and are situated on 150 picturesque acres with a beautiful 65 acre spring fed lake. The camp accommodates 290 boys and 290 girls, ranging in age from 7 to 16.

In case you simply cannot wait until camp to have Karen’s famous Pontiac Crunch, we’ll help you make some today for National Baking Day!
-Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and cover it in Saltine crackers.
-Melt 1 cup of brown sugar and 2 sticks of butter and pour it over the crackers.
-Pop it in the oven at 350° for 5 minutes.
-Remove and immediately put 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips on top of the crackers.
-Put it back in the oven for 1 minute and spread the melted chocolate evenly.
-Add sprinkles and enjoy!
