When you are camping with us, you'll feel that you can not only watch the stars, but that you can almost reach out and touch them. That's just one of the magical things that can happen when you camp with us on Mount Tanglewood!

The quiet out here under the tall pines always feels a little deeper on September 11th.

Surrounded by fresh air, crackling campfires, and open skies, it’s impossible not to pause and reflect on the day that forever changed our nation. Out here, where life slows down and the simple moments take center stage, we are reminded of how precious that peace really is—and the heavy price paid to protect it.

Today, all of us at Tanglewood Camping hold close the memory of the innocent lives lost, the heroes who ran toward danger without hesitation, and the families who still carry the weight of that morning. We also remember the unity that followed: neighbors leaning on neighbors, hands held out in grief, and a shared resolve to take care of one another.

As the sun sets through the trees this evening, we invite everyone around the campground to take a quiet breath of gratitude. For our first responders, for our service members, and for the simple freedom to gather safely in the places we love.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, and the one person keeping this whole circus running smoothly. 🎪 Huge shoutout to our amazing caller and her happy helper Katie for keeping the campers happy! If you're looking for great people, relaxed weekends, and a little friendly competition, Tanglewood is exactly where you want to be. 😉

Sometimes the best plans are the ones that involve absolutely no plans at all. Coffee on the porch, a view of the lake, and the sound of nothing but the trees. Our 3-bedroom home at Tanglewood is officially ready for your next reset. Link in the comments to book your stay.
