If each one of you sends ONE friend who loves the outdoors and adventures to follow us..we will FAR SURPASS our current goal of 1500 followers! We gave away a free stay at 500 followers, another one at 1000! When we get to 1500 we will be giving away TWO FREE STAYS! One to the person who sent us the most followers ( we have 2 people still nevk in neck for that prize! ) and one person will be chosen in a random drawing of all of our followers! What Greg has been working on the last few weeks. Installing plumbing. Not glamorous pictures..but definitely a necessity! Hopefully 1 more week.

WOW! you guys are amazing! We LOVE the momentum this contest is having! FRIENDS!!! PLEASE SHARE SHARE SHARE THE CONTEST! It will continue until we get to 1500 followers!! Right now we have two folks neck and neck. ! Thank you soooo much!!! Just fyi..next on the list of work this week! Finish the 1st of 4 guest suite bathrooms! Then we will focus on finishing the kitchen as well as getting the garage roof replaced! Move in date for us should be by sept. Then we can spend more time working on the place and less time commuting!😊getting ready for guests in 2027!!!!!

From Jax removing entire damaged garage roof..to Greg and Tom laying initial stage of new roof. New roof now tarped to prevent damage from predicted precipitation until the professionals can come out and complete the job. No more lake Stanley in the garage/workshop. TEAM WORK!!!

Thank you to our neighbor Tom for digging the trench to lay our gas line..here's Greg placing and burying the line with the help of Jax. All huge steps to becoming operational! Thank you all for your support on our jouney!!

Didi doing something besides project manager, clean up duty and chef! Staining wood for 2 downstairs guest rooms. Once again..repurposing! Using used motor oil as stain!

Flooring is COMPLETE! in dining room, living room and kitchen!!!! As was the baseboard in those 3 rooms!! THANK YOU JAX! For finishing the flooring and installation of the baseboards and removal of damaged garage roof! He was only able to come out to help for 2 weeks..but sure got LOTS DONE!!! Thank you also to Dennis for painting the baseboards that went in those rooms!! Moving forward!!

Thank God for Jax! BIG JOB! As many of you have seen..weve been getting major flooding in our garage/ workshop..after much discussion and research..made the decision the roof needed to be replaced. Thank you Jax for removing the old one for us! That is no small feat!!
