Hi everyone,
On November 26th, the park, along with Florida Rural Water Association, will be conducting a smoke test of our sewer lines.
Some of the residents in the park who've been here for years will probably remember this from the past, but for those unfamiliar, a harmless v***r will be pumped through the park sewer lines.
Where the v***r becomes visible above ground indicates a crack or bad connection where groundwater and stormwater can seep into our sewers and overload the sewer plant. After those locations are marked, we will make the necessary repairs to the sewer lines, as part of our ongoing improvement to park utilities.
We have notified the Felda and Immokalee fire departments.
Park management will distribute formal notices to all residents soon. Copies of those notices in English and Spanish are also attached to this post here for your convenience.
Juana has helped with many prior smoke tests and is happy to answer any questions.
