On Cumberland Island, exploration unfolds at your own pace.

With more than 50 miles of scenic trails, ranging from easy to moderate, guests can wander through rolling dunes and maritime forest, with maps available at the Greyfield Gift Shop to guide the way.

Prefer two wheels? Complimentary bicycles make it easy to explore beneath the live oaks – from the Dungeness Ruins to the Ice House Museum, or onward to Plum Orchard with a picnic in your basket.

However you choose to roam, the island is yours to discover.

This Memorial Day, let us take a moment to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

With deep gratitude for their courage, we turn to the quiet grace of the Island to find space for reflection and stillness.
