One of our favorite adventures is taking the beautiful mountain drive to Highlands, only about an hour from the cabin. The ride alone is worth it, with breathtaking scenery, winding mountain roads, and waterfalls along the way. ⛰️
We recommend stopping by Dry Falls to experience walking under a waterfall, it's absolutely breathtaking 💦.
Once you get into town, you'll find wonderful restaurants, unique shopping, and charming little spots to explore. One of our favorite traditions is eating at Wild Thyme Gourmet and stopping by Kilwin's for 🍦🍨🍫

The Biltmore Estate is an absolute must-visit destination. Situated about an hour and a half away from our cabin in Franklin, NC, it's a place that will genuinely take your breath away. A day trip here is perfect for those staying in the mountains.
