It's truly amazing what a little bit of landscaping can do. Paul and I dug out the old gardening gloves and made a small flower bed. We kept it simple (we hope.). One step closer!!!

Dakota's new favorite seat in the house 😂. These adult bean bag chairs are actually no joke when it comes to comfy.... but they definitely need a warning label when it is time to get up!

We are located only 18 mins from the "Roaring Creek Trailhead," a segment of the Cumberland Trail! You'll want to absolutely pack a bathing suit for this hike, as it leads to a beautiful waterfall with a natural swimming hole.

Another furniture delivery arrived and another check off the list! This room is on the 2nd floor and features a King Bed, Queen pullout sofa, and that little ottoman turns into a twin! Also has a small full bath as well. The showstopper, however, is the views 🤩.

We went wild flower hunting today and found some Tall Coreopsis (Coreopsis tripteris), a native perennial often found in woodlands. These bloom typically from July through September, so a nice little surprise today!
