🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Remember.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember and honor the 2,977 innocent lives lost, the families who were forever changed, and the brave first responders who ran toward danger to help others.

We also honor the servicemen and women who answered the call in the days, months, and years that followed, as well as all those who have continued to serve and protect our country.

Twenty-five years later, we remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the strength of a nation that came together in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Please join us in welcoming Tessa Clare White as the newest addition to our Innkeeper team! She’ll be working alongside Shelley to help provide the warm, welcoming hospitality our guests have come to know and love.

A 2026 graduate of Candor Central School District, Tessa will be attending Tompkins Cortland Community College this fall to pursue a degree in Business.

Hospitality has always been part of her life. Since she was a little girl, she’s helped welcome guests and work events at her grandparents’ venue, Turkey Trot Acres. Tessa is also family— the Benn Conger Inn was her grandfathers childhood home, making her connection to our property especially meaningful.

When she’s not working or studying, Tessa enjoys creating art and spending time on the golf course.

We’re excited to have Tessa as part of our team and can’t wait for our guests to get to know her. Be sure to say hello when you see her around the Inn!

We’re excited to announce that June’s Culinary Management Company, owned and operated by Adam June, will be managing the Groton Hotel’s food and beverage operations, including Eddy Brennan’s Tavern and the new Wood-Fired Kitchen.

With more than 20 years of culinary experience, Adam June has built an impressive career through private catered events, restaurant kitchens, and collegiate dining at Cornell University. Many of you already know him as the co-owner and chef behind June’s Cafe & Pizzeria, as well as the Events Chef at the Benn Conger Inn, where he has helped create memorable dining experiences for countless guests.

Adam’s passion for exceptional food, commitment to quality and customer service and decades of hospitality experience make June’s Culinary Management Company the perfect partner to bring our vision to life. We can’t wait for everyone to experience the incredible menu, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service that will soon be part of the Groton Hotel.
