After losing her husband, the love of her life, Penny found herself drawn to the peace and comfort of the beach. That’s where the story of Turtle Tide Retreat really begins. 🌊

Penny purchased the condo as a special place for herself and her family to rest, reflect and make memories together. The ocean became a reminder of God’s beautiful creation and, through its vastness and constancy, a reminder that even as life changes, there is always hope in Him.

And the name Turtle Tide Retreat has meaning, too. 🐢 Penny has always loved sea turtles and what they represent to her: the ability to move through different environments and adapt to life’s changing tides with quiet strength and grace.

What started as a place for Penny, her children and grandchildren eventually became something she knew she wanted to share. Every detail has been chosen with comfort and relaxation in mind. Her hope is that when you stay here, you can leave some of the hectic pace of life behind. That families and friends make treasured memories. That couples reconnect. That someone who simply needs a little rest finds it here.

For Penny, Turtle Tide Retreat is so much more than a beach condo. It’s a place that has brought her peace, contentment and hope, and sharing a little bit of that with every person who walks through the door is what makes it so special. 💙
