It’s Shark Awareness Day! These creatures are ancient, incredible, and they need our protection, not our fear.
Around the Keys we regularly spot nurse sharks, lemon sharks, blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, and hammerheads. Oh and this year? A 13ft great white paid us a visit. No big deal. 😅🦈🤿

🌊 Happy World Oceans Day from all of us at Islamorada Dive Center! 🩵💙🩵
Out here in the Florida Keys, we get to see this blue world up close every single day — the living reefs, the wrecks covered in life, the turtles gliding by like they own the place. It never gets old.
We’re grateful for every dive that reminds us how connected everything is down there, and how much this ocean gives us. That’s why we show up, protect what we can, and share these moments with you.
