Cheers to 20 Years! Congratulations to Christine on her 20 year Inn-aversary! So many years of hard work and dedication to this beautiful Inn!

She has worked very hard alongside John and me and other teammates over the years through the thick and thin and literal blood, sweat and tears! But we get it done!

Her positive attitude and sense of fun has brought lots of good vibes and joy to this wonderful and special Inn. Christine is known for her crazy headbands every morning in our dining room bringing a smile to many guests. Her baked goods - cookies, granola and breads, galore... have brought many smiles too! Her cheerful demeanor and welcoming ways, have been the highlight for many guests over the years, whether repeats or new friends ❤️

Christine has a knack for recognizing when one might need a boost and find ways to bring a smile to those who secretly or not so secretly, need one.

We've been through it all at the Inn - ups, downs and all-arounds - and Christine has been with us through all of it ❤️

We feel that we have and run a very special and unique Inn as well as so many very special guests and Christine has been a wonderful part of what we do here.

We had some long-time couples come up this weekend just to celebrate Christine - she is loved! Thank you to them and many others who sent cheers to her for her special day!

Please join us in congratulating Christine in her milestone of 20 years of hard work, dedication, fun and kindness! ❤️

Our latest adventure was Low's Bald Spot on Tuesday. Nothing major but a beautiful hike with enough elevation in spots to get the heart pumping.

It's four miles, round trip along the Old Jackson Road Trail, across the Mt. Washington Auto Road and on to the wooded trail again. There was a short rock scramble at the end. We had amazing weather and a wonderful workout. We highly recommend. It's considered a moderate trail.

How to see everyone soon for some adventure or some rest and relaxation! ❤️

We completed Mount Tecumseh yesterday! Though apparently it's considered one of the easiest of the 4,000 footers, it was challenging. It was a tough one. It's the smallest of the 4K footers at 4,003 feet. It's 5-miles, round trip and takes about 4 hours to finish, on average. It took us about 4.5 hours.

We experienced mud, snow, ice and river crossings (very wet time of year) and many very steep sections. It was a great "heart pumper" for sure - wonderful workout and very rewarding (once we got back down 😁)

Great job Dina Pelley John Kendzierski and Mary Doherty-Kendzierski !

Christine Baumann took care of the Inn while we took up this most recent challenge!

Come on up and hike everyone!

We hiked Arethusa Falls today ahead of our big hike tomorrow. It was rainy then snowy but a great workout with the most amazing waterfall! It's the tallest in NH and one of our fireplace rooms is named after it.

We climb one of the 48, 4,000 footers tomorrow - Mount Tecumseh. Today was the appetizer 😁

Dina Pelley John Kendzierski and I make a great team ❤️
