๐จ FALL FOLIAGE UPDATE: PEAK COLOR IS ARRIVING! ๐จ
According to PA.GOV/FallFoliage, we are officially approaching peak color here in McKean County! ๐
If you want to catch the jaw-dropping views at Kinzua Bridge State Park and the stunning water reflections at Marilla Reservoir, you need to plan your visit soon. With a heavy frost expected tonight, the leaves at the Skywalk are probably going to hit peak color very rapidly!
Do not worry if you cannot make it this weekend, though. There are still plenty of spots deep in the Allegheny National Forest that are holding onto their green, meaning we will be enjoying gorgeous fall colors across the wider region for the next few weeks! ๐ฒ๐
โ ๏ธ Travel Pro-Tips for Kinzua Bridge State Park:
Skip the Traffic: Biking into the park via the Knox and Kane Rail Trail is absolutely your best option on busy weekends! ๐ฒ
Timing is Everything: If you need to drive, plan to arrive very early in the morning or late in the day.
Parking Warning: Once the main parking lot is full, the park gates will temporarily shut down until spots open up.
The Ultimate Hack: If at all possible, plan your visit for a weekday to enjoy a peaceful, crowd-free experience!
Gather up your friends, pack your camera, and come experience the absolute magic of fall in the ANF! ๐
