Aloha, Storm Lala passing by last night brought rain and wind. Kihei was sheltered by Haleakala but we are experiencing a power outage at this time. We**am from Charlie Young Beach shows a relatively calm morning.

SOUTH SIDE: Mostly cloudy. Numerous showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning, then scattered showers in the afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall possible in the morning. Highs around 87. North winds up to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
NORTH SHORE: Tropical storm conditions possible. Cloudy. Showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning, then showers in the afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall possible. Highs around 81 near the shore to around 67 near 5000 feet. East winds up to 30 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.
CENTRAL MAUI: Mostly cloudy. Breezy. Showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning, then numerous showers in the afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall possible. Highs 81 to 87. Northeast winds up to 20 mph shifting to the east 10 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 80 percent.
