Cook eggs and bacon in the morning, BBQ fresh fish and mix drinks in the evening, dine on the lawn, blow the conch at sunset. Best Beach on Maui

We’re uniquely situated on Kamaole II, the best beach on all of Maui (ask around). Don’t haul everything across the street or pack up and drive — just walk over the lawn to get there. A Family Experience

For many, Hale Pau Hana is a family experience. G

randparents watch grandkids swim for the first time, couples get married on the beach, then bring the kids, have family reunions. We have guests and owners who have literally been returning to Hale Pau Hana for five generations. We’re honored to be more than a place to vacation — to be a part of their family and the memories they make together.

The Hale Pau Hana on Kamaole Beach II in Kihei. Same shoreline since 1969. 🌺

Same line where the ocean meets the sand.
Same palms. Same railing down to the beach.
Same view from the lanai at the end of the day.

Fifty-seven years and counting. A beachfront condo that doesn't need a remodel to feel like home.

Unit 12 at The Hale Pau Hana. Ground-floor 1-bedroom on Kamaole Beach II in Kihei. No stairs. 🌺

Bedroom door. Lanai door. Lawn. Sand. That's the trip.

Adults only, max two. King bed, full AC, private lanai that opens straight onto the grass. No elevator. No carrying anything up anything.

For couples who'd rather walk to the water than climb to the view.

Beachfront condo since 1969. DM for dates.

Lahaina Noon over Kihei today at 12:22 PM. Step outside. Look down. No shadow. 🌴

Twice a year the sun passes directly overhead and Hawaii loses its shadows for a minute. It only happens here.

The Hale Pau Hana has watched this same lawn lose its shadow since 1969. Beachfront condo on Kamaole Beach II in South Maui.

Save this for May's Lahaina Noon next year. Or pencil us in for whenever the light pulls you back.

Memorial Day weekend in Kihei. Field notes from a beachfront condo that's been doing this since 1969. 🌺

Beach before eight. Sand still cool, water still glass.
Coffee from a hole-in-the-wall, not a chain.
The good snorkel cove is about twelve minutes south.
Sunset side stays warm until it doesn't.

Bring a towel you don't mind getting salty. Pack two waters, not one. Leave the schedule in the car.

The Hale Pau Hana sits on Kamaole Beach II in South Maui. Save this for Saturday.

DM for summer dates.

Late spring on Kamaole Beach II in Kihei. The light stays out a little longer now. 🌅

Sand still warm on the way back. Sky doing that slow purple-into-peach thing.

A month ago this hour was already dark. Now there's a window. One more walk. One more look before dinner.

The Hale Pau Hana has been on this shoreline since 1969. Pau hana, the long way around.

DM for dates.

Waves. Birds in the plumeria. The coffee maker doing its thing. 🌺

That's the soundtrack of a Hale Pau Hana morning. No alarm clock, no traffic, no rush. Just the Pacific doing what it has been doing off this stretch of Kamaole Beach since 1969, and a cup of something warm in your hands before the rest of the island is even awake.

This is the pau hana version of a Tuesday. Close your eyes and picture it. 🌊

Some guests have been coming back here longer than some of our staff have been alive.

First-timers become regulars. Regulars become ohana. The kids who built sandcastles out front grow up and bring their own kids to the same lawn, the same ocean, the same golden hour.

We don't really have a secret. Just a place that waits for you, exactly where you left it.

Tell us: how many times have you stayed? 🌺

They're almost on their way.

Humpback season on Maui runs November through May, and these last few weeks are the quiet goodbye. If you're on a lanai around golden hour, keep an eye on the horizon. You might catch a spout, a tail, or nothing at all. That's the deal with wild things.

They'll be back in November. Will you?

Today is for the moms.

The ones who packed everyone else's bag before their own. The ones who said they were fine with the window seat. The ones who always remembered the sunscreen.

Some moms want flowers. Some want an ocean and an hour of quiet.

If you are the mom today, we hope your shoulders drop at least an inch. If you love one, tag her so she knows this view is on the list.

🌺 Aloha from Kamaole Beach II.

Between the morning beach and the sunset lawn, there's the pool.

Nobody's in a hurry to get here. It's the quiet hour. Palms doing their thing on the water. A towel someone left on a lounger. The kind of afternoon that doesn't ask anything of you.

Where would you put your towel? 🌴
