On Friday August 7, we will open our doors to the new diner for the very first time for guests to enjoy! We will use the next several days as a "Soft Opening" in order to fine tune our processes and make any changes necessary before we have an official "Grand Opening".
Just a tid bit of info so you folks will know what to expect. Our BBQ Joint will be very similar to many others. You will order at the counter, seat yourself and we will bring your order to the table. Obviously this isn't a "large diner"
we seat approximately 15 inside and still offer outdoor seating for about 20 customers! Currently we will open with bottled and can drinks only. No alcohol at this time, but adding brewed Tea, Lemonade and possibly fountain drinks in the near future. Our current menu will be adjusted over time with the addition of some new and exciting items in the coming weeks. We have been told multiple times by our customers, we are "too cheap" haha. With the growth of the new diner and adding additional staff to accommodate that growth, you will notice a slight increase in pricing to make ends meet and continue giving you the same quality of food we are dedicated to serve. We will be staying with our current schedule of Thursday & Friday 11:30-6:30pm and Saturday Noon-5:30pm as of now. Remember, this is real 100% Wood Smoked BBQ, preparation time, catering orders and having a few hours off each week doesnt allow us to open up 5 or 6 days a week.
We will keep our same Carry-Out lobby open for those customers on the go. Dine-in customers will enter thru the new entrance. This will help the flow of foot traffic. We are very excited to show off the new dining room! It seems to give that feeling of a step back in time when you enter the door! This will definitely be a great addition for Lawrenceburg, surrounding communities and continue as a very popular stop for many tourists coming thru our town as they explore the Bourbon Trail! We look forward to seeing you all this weekend!
