The historic homestead built between 1835-1845 offers the ambiance of an earlier time. Remarkable stone masonry are displayed in the gigantic chimneys, porch steps and foundation. Original faux-grain painting is also evident on much of the upstairs windows and doors. This too displays artistic craftsmanship of a bygone era. ome visited and admired by Seay on visits to New Orleans. Frequent trips were made to that area by riverboat to sell the to***co grown on the plantation. Artifacts found under the home's Summer Kitchen possibly reflect those visits to that area - whale rib-bone and harpoon.

TODAY begins our big Summer Sale and also Christmas in July Sale too! Farm shop open 10 -3 with some great savings on all decor and fun items to enjoy for these special seasons! Special note to those driving from the east at the exit for Alexandria will have a detour...they (TDOT) are shaving our wonderful country road trees! Alternate route for Friday only as they don't work on Saturday! Beautiful weather today .... COME SEE US!
